Bellway Launches 'Your Home, Your Way' Scheme: A £10,000 Lifeline for Cardiff House-Hunters
Housebuilder Bellway has unveiled a lucrative initiative named ‘Your Home, Your Way,’ offering up to £10,000 of financial assistance to prospective homebuyers in and around Cardiff. Simultaneously, the scheme will provide those seeking homes in Newport with incentives of up to £5,000.
The ground-breaking program aims to make homeownership more attainable by providing significant savings either through a mortgage subsidy, a deposit contribution, or even towards upgrades or additional features inside the new home.
Bellway, responsible for the ongoing construction of 270 homes at the Longwood Grange site in Lisvane, 95 homes at Coed Derw in Llantwit Fardre, and a further 152 homes at Heron’s Mead in Llanwern, hopes that the incentive will help home-seekers customise their home purchasing experience to suit their individual financial situations.
The 'Your Home, Your Way' scheme, which took off on 1 May and runs until 30 June, has been devised as a comprehensive support system for prospective homeowners, enabling them to pursue new-build properties in a way that best meets their needs.
Savings opportunities across the three sites are as follows: up to £5,000 at Coed Derw in Llantwit Fardre, up to £10,000 at Longwood Grange in Lisvane, and up to £5,000 at Heron’s Mead in Llanwern.
Billie Oaten, Sales Director for Bellway Wales, emphasised the scheme's flexibility. She said, "We devised 'Your Home, Your Way' in response to our customer feedback indicating a demand for flexible incentives. Everyone's circumstances vary, and we sought to develop a solution that would assist the broadest range of potential customers possible."
Elaborating on the unique benefits of the program, Oaten added, “Buyers can opt for a contribution towards mortgage payments to maintain lower monthly outgoings. Alternatively, they can receive a lump sum boost to their deposit to expedite the home buying process without additional saving periods. Furthermore, they can allocate up to £10,000 for optional extras or upgrades like premium flooring, tiling, and lighting to tailor their new home to their preferences."
In addition to these incentives, Bellway assures its buyers of superior build quality, demonstrated by its five-star status award from the Home Builders Federation for the seventh consecutive year. This accolade is testament to Bellway's customer satisfaction levels, with over 90% of customers willing to recommend the company to a friend.
